Dizzee Rascal - 'Pussyole [Old Skool]'

Dizzee Rascal is changing direction it seems, from the limp efforts of ‘Dream’ from sophomore album ‘Showtime’ this is at the other end of the spectrum, fast paced and aggressive but it is a positive change. 'Pussyole (Old Skool)' feels like a natural progression from previous single ‘Sirens’ with the refrain of “blood, don’t make me get old skool” forming the core of the track. It’s loud and direct but feels less challenging than some of his older work, instead using repetition and drilling us with the same looping sounds. Although he’s capable of better Dizzee has nonetheless hit a new sound and his progress as an artist will be aided by tracks like ‘Pussyole (Old Skool)’.
